Many thanks to all of you who attended the first weekend of Caversham Arts Trail. We are pleased to say the trail was well-attended and made all the more enjoyable by the sunshine.
We will be opening again this Friday 18th May through until Sunday 20th May. All venues are open from 11am to 5pm. (Please note that venue 9 will not be open on Friday 18th May).

We have 8 new artists showing this year, as well as some new venues, and plenty of activities as well as some rather nice cake on sale in aid of our chosen charity TEAM Hannah.
Briefly, our new artists and their venues are:
Bookity – Re-using unwanted books – Venue 3
Brenda Graham – Glass and jewellery – Venue 5
Sophie Waite – Smoke fired ceramics – Venue 5 (this venue also has some good cake on sale)
Beady Pool – Lampwork and silver jewellery – Venue 6
Lou Jessop – Relief appliqué – Venue 8
Nicola Kantorowicz, Stained glass – Venue 8 (tea and cake also available here)
Sanbags – Hand crafted bags – Venue 11
Debbie Page – Pottery – Venue 12
And the activities taking place are:
Poetry reading, Two Rivers Press, 3pm Saturday(this venue is in a nice garden setting) – Venue 2
Slip casting and ceramic demonstrations, Lauren Denney, on-going – Venue 6
Open mike poetry, 3pm Saturday, Robin Thomas (also in a nice garden, with cake and refreshments available, NEW venue) Venue 10
Make a fused glass pendant, Barbara Goodbun, on-going – Venue 11
Silversmithing demo, 2:30pm Sunday, Matthew Hitch – Venue 12
