We are busy preparing to open our studio doors on 11th May for the first weekend of the Caversham Arts Trail. The trail will take place on 11th, 12th and 17th -19th May with all venues opening from 11am – 5pm. We hope you’ll join us to enjoy a wide variety of original contemporary art produced by local artists.
This year the trail takes place in thirteen venues across Caversham with 29 artists taking part, 8 of those are new to our trail.

The trail gives you the opportunity to meet the artists in their own studios and learn about the techniques they use to create their art. All art work on show can be purchased directly from the exhibitors. During the trail you can expect to see ceramics, painting, collage, stained glass, knitted textiles, prints, découpage, jewellery, sculpture and batik.
There will also be a silhouette cutting workshop run by Charles Burns, and a variety of demonstrations including Tai Chi by Debbie Page, silversmithing by Matt Hitch and Chinese brush painting by Jean Turton. Lauren Denney will be demonstrating ceramics and Robin Thomas will run a poetry open-mike session. Refreshments including home-made cake will be available at some venues. See the map for full details.
Here is a taster from all of the exhibitors taking part in the trail this year.
Don’t forget you can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter and join our mailing list.
