The first weekend of the Caversham Arts trail was a great success. We are very much looking forward to opening again this coming Friday 13th May until Sunday 15th May from 11am to 5pm.
Caversham Arts Trail gives you the opportunity to visit local artists, designers and makers in their studios, homes and gardens. With over 30 artists participating this year there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.

This weekend you can also enjoy the following demonstrations: basketmaking, silverwork , chinese brush painting, spinning and weaving, jewellery making, slip casting ceramics as well as poetry reading. See the flyer for more information.
Please note that venue 12 is only open on 14th and 15th May.
Five of the artists participating in the Caversham Arts Trail will also be showing their work at the Reading Contemporary Art Fair on 14th and 15th May. Look out for Louise Spiers, Julie Simmonds, Charles Burns, Matthew Keeler and Sonia Olaniyan at the Caversham Artists stand. MUG SHOTS: Do you have a favorite tea or coffee cup? You know… the one you choose over all others when the cupboard is full. Caversham Arts Trail artist, Matthew Keeler at Venue number 5, is looking for people to participate in his next project. Matthew wants to produce a series of small portraits of people with their favorite tea or coffee cup. These will be exhibited during next years Caversham Arts Trail. Anyone interested in taking part in the project, please contact Matthew for further details via [email protected].
